The past three weeks have been groundbreaking! Let me tell you why. I started to do 30min sessions in one go, two weeks of level 1 (lowering the breath) and 1 week of level 2 (friendly eyes). These sessions have fixed my insomnia issues. For years and years I haven’t been able to fall asleep without the sound of television. For several weeks now I have been able to sleep through the night without interruptions, maybe with a couple nights exceptions. I am so grateful for the practice and I have been able to keep up with it every single day, even when I haven’t felt like it.
Today – on my birthday, 25.1. I will be starting with Vipassana technique. I want to train myself to keep the concentration level, so I’m not yet going to do the 30min straight, I’m going to do my practice in 2 lots every day, in 10min and 20min sessions. I hope that this practice will help me with maintaining a high level of concentration.
